题 目：Future and Identity of the Information Systems Discipline

主讲人简介：

Paulo Goes教授是管理信息系统领域国际最知名的学者之一，曾担任管理学顶级期刊MIS Quarterly 主编。现任美国亚利桑那大学艾勒管理学院院长，亚利桑那大学Salter管理与技术杰出教授，哈尔滨工业大学首席国际学术顾问。

讲座摘要：

We live in a world that is driven by fast technological changes. In the era of data science, artificial intelligence and smart automation, the sky is the limit for future innovations impacting business and society. As a discipline, IS should be at the center of this so-called fourth industrial revolution. Looking towards the future, in this talk I overview the evolution of the IS discipline over its 50 years of existence and its search for an identity definition, especially when compared to other business.
